A time to create and unwind
Service Description
This is a brand new club that offers a welcoming space for adults (age 18+) with developmental disabilities to explore their creativity through painting and/or crafting. Caregivers are encouraged to join in the artistic experience as well. Please remember to register if you plan to ensure ample materials for everyone. A time to unwind, get together with friends, form new relationships, and create artwork together! We may also explore watercolor, acrylic paint, craft materials. Each week will have a main project. If you choose not to do the main project, that is okay. There may be other materials to choose from instead such as coloring, beads, etc. Create something fun and unique. Bring a friend along. It makes it more fun! This club is held 4 weeks of the month. For the best experience, it is recommended to attend all club meetings to get to know others and make new friends. When: Mondays at 1:30-2:30 pm Location: Harvest Christian Fellowship in Frederick, MD. PLEASE NOTE: Choose the date you are attending. Painting Projects/Themes: *March 10; 17; 24; 31 March 10th: Acrylic Clover Painting Part 1 March 17th: Acrylic Clover Painting Part 2 (Finishing) March 24th: Painting and Creating windchimes March 31st: Ready for Spring: Paint your terracotta pot *April 7th; 14th; 21st; 28th (to be scheduled) *May 5th; 12th; 19th; 26th (to be scheduled) Due to the materials needed to be purchased prior to class, there are no refunds for missed class or a no show. Membership fees for the month are non-refundable. Your membership encompasses all necessary materials and fees, allowing you to sign up and fully engage in all activities provided. We foster a family-friendly environment, hosted in a church facility. It is essential to maintain respect for this space and all individuals present. Appropriate behavior, language, and conversation are expected to ensure a secure and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Should any member fail to uphold these standards, the event organizer reserves the right to revoke membership and attendance as necessary. Your mindfulness regarding our shared environment is greatly appreciated. Please note that attendance is restricted to individuals aged 18 and older. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
